Moerangi Track • Grade 4 • Length 35km

The Moerangi Track is a 100% singletrack back country epic. This amazing Grade 4 mountain bike track is one of the longest continual native forest rides in the country. Set among native beech trees in the wild Whirinaki Forest Park the Moerangi Track is very remote and features 3 historic huts, around 1000m of climbing, and some descents that you will make you want to come back for more.

The Moerangi Track is narrow and in many places it is exposed to banks and cliffs. Anyone attempting this ride should be confident on Grade 4 mountain bike trails.
